Overview
HCMUNRE is one of the few universities in Vietnam that train professionals in marine and island resources and environmental management. The four-year, credit-based program combines lectures with internships, field trips and marine and island surveys, and students can join lecturers’ research projects.
Career Opportunities
Graduates work in government agencies for marine and island resources and environment, marine research institutes, companies providing marine environmental technologies and services, NGOs and development organizations (such as GIZ, JICA and UNDP), and universities and training institutions.
