Overview
The program covers environmental assessment, prevention and control of pollution and environmental risks, and sustainable management of natural and mineral resources. The EHS specialization applies ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 systems to environmental quality and occupational health and safety in companies; the UETM specialization focuses on urban environmental management, urban infrastructure systems and smart, sustainable eco-cities.
Career Opportunities
Graduates work as environmental consultants and managers (environmental impact assessment, environmental permits), EHS specialists in companies, industrial parks and construction projects, officers in government agencies, and in universities, research institutes, conservation areas and NGOs. Internship and management trainee programs are available from the third year.
